Losing a loft one or somebody precious to you is hard no matter what, but during the Christmas months it’s even harder. We of all people understand just how much pain and distress losing somebody close to you can cause as we see it almost every single day. That’s why here at Arlington Funeral Services we are considered at being the best funeral directors in the Stoke and Manchester areas. This is because we sympathise with the family and friends who are going through hell when somebody passes away and with our services we can take the un-needed stress off your shoulders and put it onto ours.
With our funeral planning services, you can literally just hand us a list with all the things that you require for saying your last goodbyes to a family member of close friend, you can pick the colour themes (if you don’t want it to be all black, so you could try and make it a happier event with brighter, “happier” colours), you could choose a list of music that you want to be played on the day (from standard funeral songs through to whatever the person’s favourite song choices were when they were alive). If you already have an idea of what your loved one wanted, but you don’t know how to organise it all and arrange it for the funeral, well that’s where we can come in. All you need to do is list it all down onto paper or even through an email and we’ll get to work making sure that your loved one gets the send-off that they deserve.
There are many different types of funeral to choose from for your loved one. You can choose a standard burial in their own grave or even in a family plot, where we can assist in getting the old grave re-opened so that your loved one can join other members of their family or their parents etc. You can choose to cremate your loved one where you will have to decide where the main service will be held, this can either be at your church, place of worship, community hall or even a committal service at the crematorium. As with burials, regulations are in place and there are restrictions on items, or personal keepsakes that can be cremated with the person and our Directors will advise you on any items you would like to accompany the deceased.
If you choose a standard burial then the Directors at Arlington Funeral Services will enquire about the availability in Stoke-on-Trent and we will also comply with all local regulations. Our Funeral Directors will also be able to advise you on any specifications or even conditions set by the local authorities or the local cemeteries. In both instances there will most likely be costs to consider.
We understand just how you must be feeling when you lose somebody and it’s 1000x worse when it’s close to Christmas, if you would like to know more about how we can help you and your family create the best send-off possible for your loved one, then please don’t hesitate to get into contact with us and a member of our friendly team will be in touch with you shortly.
